It’s a big milestone for Flex Seal Brite. In July 2012, we released our ever-memorable “Hoover Dam in a Can” commercial for Flex Seal Brite.
Flex Seal Brite has all of the amazing qualities of Flex Seal Original (Black), but it is a better fit for light-colored surfaces.
In the footage we released, Phil Swift, the pitchman for Flex Seal, did something unheard of. He replaced the bottom of a rowboat with a screen door and took it for a spin on the lake.
That might sound absurd, but Flex Seal rises to the craziest of challenges.
Recap #1: Replace Rowboat Bottom With Screen Door. Phil and the Flex Seal Team replaced the bottom of the rowboat with a screen door. In that state, the boat would sink to the bottom of the lake. But not when you have Flex Seal in hand.
[Flex Tip: Before, Flex Sealing your surface, make sure your surface is dry and clean of dirt, grease, and oil.]
Recap #2: Flex Seal It. In an even sweeping motion, the Flex Seal Team sprayed Flex Seal on the entire bottom of the boat from an 8- to 12-inch distance. Letting each coat dry 24 to 48 hours, Phil and the team added several coats of Flex Seal to the bottom of the boat. Before putting Flex Seal to the test, the team let the final coat dry for 48 hours.
[Flex Tip: Flex Seal will work on almost every surface. It’s the top water sealant in the country – keeping out moisture, water, and air. Consider it your rubber in a can.]
Recap #3: Test It Out on the Water. Phil took the boat out on the water, and the results were just as expected – no leaks, no hassles, no problems. Flex Seal is your go-to rubber in a can. It dries into an airtight, waterproof rubber sealant handling even the largest of projects.
While the team used Flex Seal Original (Black) to seal the boat, Flex Seal Brite will do just the same. We can show you better than we can tell you. Take a look at the commercial for yourself.
As shown in the commercial, Flex Seal Brite can be used for just about anything. As Phil puts it, “It’s like the Hoover Dam in a can.” Flex Seal Brite has the power to seal leaks fast. All you need is a can of the spray sealant on deck.
There’s almost nothing Flex Seal Brite can’t handle. No wonder we’ve gotten so much feedback from our Flex Sealers. They’re always creating new ways to put Flex Seal Brite to the test.
