It’s that time of year. In 2016 around this time, we released footage on an unbelievable project we did out in the swamp. You know that at Flex Seal, we don’t do anything small because our products produce anything but small results.
For this reason, Phil Swift, the pitchman for Flex Seal Liquid, did something unheard of. He took an airboat with a bottom made of only screening and rode it through a swamp. He made the trip with no leaks, no hassles, no problems.
How is this even possible? Flex Seal Liquid.
Flex Seal Liquid Conquers the Swamp
Recap 1: Coat It With Flex Seal Liquid! In December 2016, Phil and the Flex Seal Team grabbed an airboat with a bottom made of complete screening. In its natural state, the airboat would sink. But not when you use Flex Seal Liquid. You can roll, brush, dip, and pour Flex Seal Liquid onto almost any surface. Phil and the team chose to roll Flex Seal Liquid Black on the airboat you’re about to see soon.
[Flex Tip: Flex Seal Liquid can go on almost any surface. Just make sure the surface is clean of dirt, oil, and grease.]
Recap 2: Let It Dry. Flex Seal Liquid takes 24 to 48 hours to dry. Most projects require many coatings to be sure that all leaks and cracks are sealed. Just make sure that you give your final coat 48 hours to dry before testing your project out. That’s exactly what we did with the airboat we used for our once-top secret project.
[Flex Tip: Flex Seal Liquid works in drastic conditions. You can use it in less than 0°F and over 250°F.]
Recap 3: Through the Swamp We Go. After the Flex Seal Liquid dried, Phil hopped on the airboat and took it for a spin. And just as we expected: no leaks, no hassles, no problems. As you know, the swamp is filled with all types of things: grass, dirt, not to mention alligators. And yet Flex Seal Liquid rose to the challenge.
